About the project
A UFC documentary series that goes back to where each fighter started — long before the octagon found them.
Born to Fight was developed from 2015 onwards to tell the stories of the fighters of UFC Brasil. I directed and developed the series alongside the team at Mixer Filmes.
Until the end of UFC's partnership with the Combate channel, it was the guide series for understanding who the fighters worth following actually were — built in the same documentary register I'd later push further with The 3rd Degree.
